“I Macchiaioli” at Palazzo Martinengo

Pedrali supports the exhibition in Brescia dedicated to the masters of painting from late 19th century
Once again, Pedrali supports the exhibition at Palazzo Martinengo in Brescia titled “I Macchiaioli”, which opens to the public on Saturday 20 January 2024 and will be on display until 9 June 2024.
The exhibition, curated by Davide Dotti and Francesca Dini, organised by Associazione Amici di Palazzo Martinengo, offers an exciting journey retracing the revolution of the Macchiaioli, a group of young painters who, in Florence in the second half of the 19th century, gave life to one of the most original European artistic avant-gardes of the 19th century.
The curators have conceived a retrospective of more than 100 works by Fattori, Lega, Signorini, Cabianca, Borrani, Abbati and others, mostly masterpieces from private collections and important museum institutions such as the Uffizi Galleries in Florence, the Museum of Science and Technology “Leonardo da Vinci” in Milan, and the Civic Museums in Udine.
Some products from Pedrali's collection furnish the expositive path. Buddy poufs, designed by Busetti Garuti Redaelli, Brik umbrella stands, designed by Pio & Tito Toso, and Kado vases are the ideal solution to welcome visitors within the museum. Dome chairs by Odo Fioravanti and Blume chairs by Sebastian Herkner, as well as Fabbrico tables, and Ikon tables and benches by Pio & Tito Toso, thanks to their versatility, perfectly fit into the exhibition areas.
By supporting “I Macchiaioli”, Pedrali pursues the path aimed at encouraging and valorising initiatives and events promoted by valuable museums and exhibitions #Pedrali4art.
