Christmas magic through small gestures
19 Dec, 2024
Our warmest wishes for a Christmas filled with peace, love and serenity, and a New Year that brings joy and happiness
Christmas season is that time of the year when, more than ever, we devote ourselves to bringing joy and serenity to those less fortunate. Once again, we have renewed our support for several causes that are particularly close to our hearts, with the aim of helping the young, the vulnerable, and those in need. We believe that by sharing our commitment, we can turn small gestures into great hopes for the future of many.
For over 35 years, we have been supporting the Shalom Community. Founded in 1986 in Palazzolo sull'Oglio, it provides practical help to young people struggling with drug addiction, as well as to women, men, and children from all over Italy, offering educational and employment opportunities.
We also support the Mirasole Project - School of Arts and Crafts and Digital Innovation, a social initiative established by the Shalom Community to help young people reintegrate into society. In this space, community members have the chance to learn and develop skills in a variety of professions.
We place great value on scientific research, which is why we also support the Foundation for Applied Cancer Research in Zurich. For decades, this foundation has been involved in innovative projects focused on lung cancer research, particularly in early diagnosis and effective treatment. Additionally, we stand alongside the Nadia Valsecchi Onlus Foundation, which aids scientific research in the treatment and prevention of pancreatic cancer and supports patients throughout their treatment journey.
The #pedrali4education project is also continuing to support education and initiatives promoted by schools.
This year, we have chosen to support "La Traccia" High School in Calcinate, to help provide support programmes for students with special educational needs, enabling them to achieve both individual and social growth.
