On Thursday 2nd of March 2017 it is taking place the first edition of the Italian Design Day, an initiative promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to celebrate the excellence of Italian design worldwide.
This event, simultaneously happening in 100 cities all over the world, involves the Italian companies through Confindustria and is targeted to internationally promote the Italian design, a meeting point among the traditional handicraft, the artistic legacy, the skill to experiment and innovate of our country.
The designer protagonist of the meeting in Brussels, at the Italian Cultural Institute in Rue de Livourne, will be Odoardo Fioravanti accompanied by Giovanna Massoni, journalist and art director of the triennial Reciprocity Design Liège.
Among the products designed by Fioravanti for Pedrali Babila, Dome and Frida (awarded with ADI Compasso d’Oro in 2011) chairs showcased at the Italian Cultural Institute for this occasion.
