The latest trend in office furnishings moves towards flexible, versatile, fluid spaces, increasingly designed to foster the wellbeing and creativity of those who work there. These dynamic spaces are characterised by elements that respond to the constant need for change, along with the varied requirements of contemporary and multipurpose spaces: from the modern conference spaces and meeting rooms to latest-generation co-working spaces, and through new lounge and waiting areas.

Within this evolving prospective, Pedrali will take part to Orgatec, Cologne’ leading international trade show in the world of office furniture: 2018 edition focus is “new visions of work”. From 23th to 27th October, the all-Italian company will showcase “Poetry of Elements” (Hall 9.1 - Stand B041-A040), designed by the Milanese architectural Studio Calvi Brambilla, now in its third year of cooperation.

Drawing inspiration from an object as charged with meaning as a white sheet of paper, Fabio Calvi and Paolo Brambilla pay tribute to the Italian company's latest ideas with a space that moves between the creation of an art setting and the dramatization of the product.
A blank sheet of paper forms the leitmotif of the entire exhibition, and constitutes a poetic icon that transcends into a communicative and architectural element.
Besides being a silent and constant element accompanying everyday working life, the white sheet of paper symbolises the birth of new ideas, brimming with evocative and creative significance, able to materialize and take shape in a project.
Inside the 400 square metre stand, superimposed volumes of paper become decorative macro-architectures in which the predominant colour is peacock blue, the iconic shade that has dominated the brand’s trade show stands for the last two years. This structure gives life to eight scenes that accommodate Pedrali's spectacular office products, like actors on a theatrical stage. Behind, a back-lit backdrop highlights a series of artistic photographs interpreting each product, accentuating their unique characteristics.
The subject of these artistic shots by Filippo Piantanida is once again the white sheet of paper, a prolific Italian photographer known for his skilful use of chiaroscuro. Through these representative shots, suggesting movement, shape and product features, the products seem to leap out of the dark, bringing to mind the world of theatre. The result is refined, elegant and truly eye-catching.

Pedrali presents a preview of five new products. Orgatec is the best show for the launch of the first two Executive Chairs of the Italian Brand. Dynamic seats of new concept that confirm and underline Pedrali's success into the office world.
These products, through the use of new technologies and the skilful combination of different materials, continue Pedrali’ path in the constant stylistic research and enhancement of functionality. The Italian company will also be taking this opportunity to launch its new collaboration with Claudio Bellini, a leading designer specialising in contemporary office furnishings.

The partnership between Claudio Bellini and Pedrali has given life to Elinor, an Executive Chair with a base and armrests in die-cast aluminium and a very comfortable and body-hugging feeling thanks to its polyurethane injected foam in both seat and back. Elinor incorporates the different attitudes and approaches to working life looking to the future: it is elegant with a high aesthetic quality.
Jorge Pensi, in his tenth year of partnership with Pedrali, has developed two new products, stemming from a stylistic research involving shapes and materials. Temps is a multitasking Executive Chair characterised by a die-casted aluminium base with an elegant, essential design and a comfortable, ergonomic seat. An injection-moulded polypropylene shell fits around the seat hugging the user’s lower back, while the padding inserted in the polypropylene shell designs a continuous line.
Presented in a new tilting, stackable version, the Ypsilon table is proposed as a versatile and dynamic solution for flexible and temporary meeting room solutions and co-working workstations. At the cutting-edge in terms of quality, it conveys both attention to details and a high-tech elements.
Boxie is a modular, versatile and colourful storage system with wheels designed by Claudio Dondoli and Marco Pocci made up of large polypropylene drawers and tops housed in a coated steel frame.
An indispensable accessory in any setting, the Ray freestanding coat stand by Pio and Tito Toso flaunts a truly fluid design that accentuates the beauty of a natural material like ash wood.
Designed to fit harmoniously into meeting rooms, ensuring comfort and elegance, are the collections of chairs and armchairs Vic and Fox, designed by Patrick Norguet, and Nym Soft, by Cazzaniga Mandelli Pagliarulo, presented at the Salone del Mobile 2018 in a new padded version.
The last scene is dedicated to Tribeca, the outdoor collection designed by Mandelli Pagliarulo, to furnish the terraces and the courtyards of the offices, often used as a relaxing area.

In the central hall, designed for informal working areas, there is Buddy, the sofa modular system with a friendly character designed by Busetti Garuti Redaelli that, thanks to the different sizes of its elements can create multiple compositions able to meet the varied needs of increasingly multipurpose contemporary spaces.
Also proposed for the breakouts areas are the Elliot table, by Patrick Jouin, and the Fluxo table by Luca Casini, and the the Babila barstools by Odo Fioravanti, which combine a polypropylene shell with a steel structure.
