pedrali at stockholm furniture and light fair 2018
26 Jan, 2018
Pedrali will be present at Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair 2018, the most important trade fair dedicated to interior design and lighting for Scandinavian market, which will be held from 6-10 February in Stockholm. The protagonists will be the latest innovations within interior design and lighting for both homes and public spaces: new products, new materials, new trends, technological and environmental solutions.
Pedrali’s stand (Hall A, Stand A11:18) has been curated by the Calvi Brambilla studio from Milan and it takes inspiration from the lifestyle and home atmospheres of the 1950s American experimental architecture of the Case Study Houses. The typically modernist elegance of those years and concepts such as transparency, the sense of horizone and lightness inspire an exhibition played on four niches separated by light structures characterized by glass surfaces that guide the guest to discover the world of Pedrali, its collections and its products.
The latest version of FOX, the elegant and distinctive-looking chair designed by Patrick Norguet, now with leather upholstery, is one of the latest products which Pedrali is presenting at SFF 2018. Other stand-out pieces among those on display include the Nym chairs, made from wood finished water-based paint, which offer a contemporary take on traditional English Windsor chairs. The alcoves also showcase the Babila collection, which stylishly treads the line between tradition and innovation, and the elegant upholstered armchair Vic. Other products symbol of innovation and modernity are Giravolta, the wireless lighting inspired by lanterns of times past, and Snooze.
