Pedrali, an Italian company that produces contemporary design furniture for public spaces, offices and homes, with an history that began over 55 years ago, takes part for the first time at HD Expo Las Vegas, the most important and prestigious event for the hospitality industry in the United States. The three-days fair, focused on contract and hospitality industry, represents a chance for architects, designer, hotel chains, developers and buyers that could find the latest news in terms of products, services and trends able to meet the needs of an increasingly relevant and demanding sector.

From 15 to 17 May, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Pedrali will showcase indoor and outdoor collections of seatings, tables and complements within the exhibition area (Booth 4461). The focus will be on products made from metal, wood, plastic materials and upholstery; each is the result of meticulous research and collaborations with Italian and international designers.

The exhibition area, where the predominant colour is peacock blue, enhances the versatility and the possibility to customise Pedrali furniture. Special attention is given to recently showcased collections.

One of the two protagonists is Tribeca by CMP Design, the outdoor seating family collection that takes us back in time with a modern reinterpretation of classic Sixties patio chairs made from steel and woven material. Handcrafted with the highest attention to detail, this chair is incredibly soft and comfortable, and puts a contemporary twist on tradition with cutting-edge design and quality. The alternation of the strings gives rhythm and visual opening, by making the seating light, dynamic and airy.

Remind is the innovative polypropylene armchair designed by Eugeni Quitllet in which each element is conceived to ensure total comfort and cosiness, thanks to its functionality and versatility, it perfectly fits into both outdoor and indoor spaces such as terraces or the backyard of a bistro. While evoking the soft sinuous curves of wooden chairs from the late nineteenth century, Remind’s organic silhouette recalls "something never seen before”, a universal shape able to fit into any space and style of decor. The seat, the backrest and the breathable texture make it airy and even lighter.

An important place is also reserved to upholstered, refined and extremely comfortable collections. Sinuous and soft forms characterize Ester armchair, designed by Patrick Jouin for the restaurants of the starred-chef Alain Ducasse. The attention to details of the die-casted aluminium legs and the absolute comfort guaranteed by a seat made of polyurethane foam with elastic belts, contribute to make restaurants and hotel, which are a landmark within the international panorama, even more welcoming. Ester furnishes unique and high-level restaurants, such as the LAGO Restaurant, overlooking the legendary fountains of the Bellagio Resort & Casinò in Las Vegas. Or even the contemporary café ore – Ducasse au château de Versailles, inside the ancient royal residence of Versailles, just outside Paris. Not to forget the historic Auberge de l’Ill of the Hotel Des Berges in Alsace, one of the ancient five-star hotel in Europe.

Vic collection of chairs, armchairs and barstools by Patrick Norguet, with its elegant and the minimal outline, comes from the combination of different materials that highlight a pure and minimal design. The resulting opening provides the armchair with lightness and eases its handling. The back lifts up from the seat while remaining tied only at the ends. This seating collection has been chosen for prestigious projects such as the Twins Garden restaurant in Moscow, identified among the best 100 restaurants in the world according to The World’s 50 Best Restaurants. And yet, Vic is one of the main furnishings of the Okko Hotel chain, both in Paris and Strasbourg. But it also characterises iconic spaces of the Italian history, such as the famous Terrazza Martini in the centre of Milan.

Ergonomic and elegant shapes are the elements that characterise Jazz armchair and barstool. A perfect balance of proportions and thicknesses give life to a comfortable collection in the curved backrest is supported by a light steel structure. Jazz collections furnishes the DoubleTree by Hilton Turin Lingotto, the hotel with a contemporary style is placed inside the historic, former FIAT factory that tells, with its own structure, a piece of history of the city of Turin. This collection is also located within the charming Caffè Fernanda, in the famous Pinacoteca di Brera in Milan, where guests can relax sipping a drink while admiring Francesco Hayez’s famous Kiss.

To complete the lounge area, Babila armchairs and barstools with backrest, designed by Odo Fioravanti, a collection that is able to move along tradition and innovation with great agility, whose strength is its simplicity and immediacy, to recall a timeless shape, Elliot tables, by Patrick Jouin, with their elegant silhouette, and Fluxo tables, by Luca Casini, with clean and minimalist lines.
