the italian company takes part in the 70th edition of stockholm furniture & light fair
For the 11th year, Pedrali takes part in the 2020 edition of Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair, from 4 to 8 February, the leading Scandinavian event for the interior design and lighting.
The #PedraliPalaceofWonders booth, designed by the Milan based architectural studio Calvi Brambilla, welcomes visitors in Hall A07:18 with a contemporary setting, characterized by an elegant and minimal style, featuring real interiors in which the mood is defined by the products themselves
Guests are welcomed in a lounge area furnished with pastel coloured seating units from the Buddy collection, including the two-seater Buddy Sofa, by Busetti Garuti Redaelli, combined with the low tables of the same collection, which contrast with the warm earthy hue of the floor.
Near the lounge area there is an outdoor environment where the key element is Tribeca collection by CMP Design, inspired by the classic Sixties patio chairs made from steel and woven cord. The Elliot tables by Patrick Jouin, with their organic yet elegant forms, complete this composition.
Another main protagonist of this setting is Soul Outdoor, the aluminium version with a seat made from shaped teak slats that is a special evolution of the original version made in bent wood and launched by Eugeni Quitllet last year. This must-have outdoor furniture echoes the same inspiration and flowing lines, but is now made from curved aluminium tube.
On the opposite there are the three settings of the Palace of Wonders, all characterized by a cut, interrupting the composition and leaving space for a rational, explanatory component.
Folk collection, by CMP Design, is the key feature of the first set depicting a modern and welcoming pastry shop with green walls. Key element is a lightweight, durable die-casted aluminium ring that becomes the structural and distinctive element which enables the piece to be easily disassembled, it is a guarantee of the strong company’s commitment to environmental sustainability. The set is completed by Stylus tables and Giravolta wireless lightings by Basaglia Rota Nodari.
The second rooms outlines a a restaurant that, thanks to its style, recalls the world’s top restaurants, where Héra, the armchair designed by Patrick Jouin, takes centre stage.
A century after the beginning of the legendary “Roaring Twenties”, main character on the scene together with Héra is Tamara suspension lamp by Basaglia Rota Nodari, named in homage to Tamara de Lempicka, the modernist painter and inspired to the shape of the headlights of early 20th-century automobiles. Inox tables, which this year are celebrating a special anniversary: 20 years from their presentation dated 2000, complete the set.
The flexibility of modern co-working spaces is finally represented within the last set which focuses on Temps, the multitasking Executive Chair by Jorge Pensi. To complete the setting, Arki-Table adjustable with a height-adjustable top, which makes easier the workday in modern and dynamic offices and Boxie, the modern storage system with wheels by Claudio Dondoli Marco Pocci, that is both light and functional.
In the central area of the booth there is Jazz seating collection, including the new chair, which is combined with Fluxo tables by Luca Casini. There are also Lunar tables by Pio and Tito Toso and Jamaica seating by CMP Design.
