I Maestri del Paesaggio

Since 2014, Pedrali has been supporting the cultural event “Landscape Festival - I Maestri del Paesaggio”, organised by the association Arketipos in collaboration with the Bergamo City Council.

The event

The event brings to Bergamo the best landscape designers and the most interesting expressions of international landscaping. By endorsing and striving to strengthen the landscape culture, it promotes sustainable development and enhances the territory.

Nature, beauty and design Every year, in September, the event sets out to rethink the city as a space of nature, beauty and design. City squares and streets are transformed into small urban gardens through temporary projects dedicated to improving the use of green spaces. The project centres on “Green Square”, a design that transforms the evocative setting of Bergamo’s Piazza Vecchia, in the Upper Town, into an extraordinary garden. The project for the square is commissioned yearly to a different international landscape artist, who develops it to reflect the theme of the event.

Pedrali for I Maestri del Paesaggio An interesting aspect of the event is the enhancement of public spaces, through the involvement of local companies, associations and civic organisations. Pedrali's outdoor collections star not just in the Green Square, but also in other representative areas of the event, “dressed up” in green to create pleasantly relaxing corners.
