Palazzo del Quirinale is a dynamic yet symbolic place, a crossroads of essential moments in the Italy’s life and history, and a symbol of national identity. It also represents an important historical and artistic treasure, full of extraordinary masterpieces.

On 2nd June, Italian Republic Day, the 2024 edition of the project titled Quirinale Contemporaneo was inaugurated. Launched in 2019, the project aims at providing a new vision of the Palazzo and the other venues of the Presidenza della Repubblica, fostering a new image and infusing the significant testimonies of the past with the vital energies of art from the Republican period. The constantly ongoing project aims to enrich the heritage of the presidential endowment with contemporary works of art and design, representing Italian excellence in the field of creativity and design.

Pedrali is one of the most influential brand and also ambassador of Made in Italy furniture and industrial design, a heritage capable of indissolubly uniting quality and research.

Within this project, Nym Soft armchairs by Pedrali furnish the dining room of the Imperial flats and the library.
Designed by CMP Design, acronym of Cazzaniga Mandelli Pagliarulo, the three founders and friends who gave birth to the studio in Como, Nym Soft is simple and refined, sophisticated yet versatile. The key feature of Nym Soft lies in the different densities of the polyurethane foam padding, which is significantly thicker in the seat area, ensuring adaptability and support - two central elements of comfort. Here it is presented in a deep blue tone with bronze-finished tubular steel legs.
