the italian company supports the parma’s exhibition
pedrali continues #pedrali4art supporting culture and art by participating as technical partner of an exhibition dedicated to the patronage of the farnese family: “the farnese. architecture, art, power”, on display from march 18th to july 31st, 2022. the event, hosted inside the monumental complex of the pilotta of parma, is part of parma italian capital of culture 2020+21 and investigates the extraordinary affirmation of this family in the european political and cultural scene from the 16th to 18th century through the use of the arts as an instrument of legitimation.

the exhibition path, developed around different thematic cores, will be set up in the different spaces of the pilotta complex: the voltoni del guazzatoio, the farnese theatre, the petitot gallery of the palatine library and the national gallery. the exhibition will showcase over 300 works from italian and european public and private collections together with works from the farnese collection in parma. and then around 200 architectural drawings, fundamental evidence for reconstructing the overall picture of farnese architecture historically, urbanely and geographically. the artistic path will be enriched with the music and artistic project “farnese weeks” in partnership with la toscanini involving, in addition to a programme of concerts held in the farnese theatre, the setup of a section on music culture in the farnese era.

pedrali products furnish the bookshop of the exhibition.
